I'm a passionate educator and a dedicated reading tutor who teaches students to read using the Orton-Gillingham Approach— a time-tested, research-backed method for teaching reading designed to meet the unique needs of individuals with dyslexia or other language-based learning differences. This approach emphasizes direct, explicit, systematic, and multisensory instruction, which is essential for developing strong reading and writing skills. With over 10 years of teaching experience and 8 years of Orton-Gillingham expertise, I’m well equipped to help your child become a strong, confident reader.

I’m fully certified and earned my credentials through extensive experience working under master-level tutors for several years. I began my career as a learning support teacher and later became a reading interventionist with my local school district. Driven by a commitment to finding the best methods to support students who were behind grade level in reading, I pursued advanced education and certification.
In addition to my Masters in Teaching and special education endorsement, I hold the following Orton-Gillingham certifications:
