What to Expect

With the Orton-Gillingham approach, tutoring is most effective when done twice weekly on nonconsecutive days - either Monday & Wednesday, or Tuesday & Thursday. This consistent practice reinforces key concepts so students can make significant progress. The primary focus of each tutoring session is to strengthen students’ reading and spelling skills, helping them progress toward grade-level proficiency as quickly as possible.

My tutoring sessions are designed to be engaging and interactive, using the latest technology and digital resources. To participate, students will need a touchscreen tablet and stylus for hands-on learning, as well as a 2nd device for face-to-face contact over Zoom. Sessions are 55 minutes in length.
